Life coaches serve as guides, focusing on personal growth, professional development, and goal achievement. They encourage behavior changes and perspective shifts for self-improvement and can even support improvements in physical health, emotional well-being, and financial wellness. Coaches are not certified therapists and do not provide mental health treatment or clinical care; their approach is rooted in positive psychology and sustainable behavior change. On the contrary, therapists are licensed mental health professionals with specific educational requirements. They aim to understand and change psychological patterns, diagnose and treat mental health needs, and improve mental and emotional well-being using various therapeutic techniques such as CBT and EMDR. Some therapists can also prescribe medication for psychological and mental health conditions. Therapists often collaborate with a client’s medical care team to enhance their overall wellbeing. While coaching can resemble talk therapy, the two are distinctly different in practice and purpose.

There is no set timeline. Everyone comes to coaching with different experiences, patterns and circumstances. You may notice some changes quickly, while others take more time and practice. Understanding something about yourself is often the first step, but lasting change comes from applying what you learn outside of our sessions and practising new ways of thinking and responding. Change isn’t always comfortable or linear. The aim isn’t to change overnight, but to keep making small shifts that become easier and more natural over time.

I offer a variety of resources and tools tailored to your needs. These include role-playing exercises to help you navigate different scenarios, and communication strategies to improve your interpersonal skills. Additionally, I may provide worksheets, reading materials, or other tools that align with your goals. Remember, each tool is aimed at supporting your personal growth in a way that resonates with you.

As an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), I follow the ICF Code of Ethics, which guides how I work with clients, including confidentiality, professional boundaries, conflicts of interest and acting with integrity.

Yes. In line with the ICF Code of Ethics, what you share during coaching is kept confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a risk of serious harm. Any limits to confidentiality will be clearly explained in your coaching agreement.

We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. Therefore, we respectfully request at least a 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Any appointment where the client shows up over 10 minutes late, doesn’t show up, cancels, or changes without 24-hour notice will result in a charge equal to 100% of the reserved service amount.
