Client Onboarding & Coaching Agreement

1. The Coaching Relationship & Clinical Boundaries

Coaching is a forward-focused, collaborative partnership designed to help you increase self-awareness, build self-trust, establish healthy boundaries, and take meaningful action toward personal and professional development. As an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credentialed through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), I adhere strictly to the ICF Code of Ethics.

Not Medical or Psychological Therapy: Coaching is not psychotherapy, clinical counselling, psychiatric diagnosis, or medical healthcare. It does not treat or cure clinical psychological or psychiatric conditions. You maintain sole autonomy and responsibility for your physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. If at any point clinical support is required, a referral to a licensed medical practitioner will be provided.

2. Client Responsibilities

To gain the maximum value from coaching, you agree to attend sessions on time, communicate openly and honestly, and take personal responsibility for your choices, behaviors, and decisions. While evidence-based frameworks are provided, no specific life or business outcomes can be legally guaranteed.

3. Rate Structure & Session Delivery

• Individual coaching sessions are billed at €90 per session (60 minutes), conducted remotely via Google Meet.
• Reasonable interim support via email or messaging is available for brief questions or updates between sessions during normal business hours.
• Corporate and organizational coaching engagements are handled on an individual case-by-case basis via separate Statements of Work.

4. International Scheduling, Validity & Rescheduling

• Global Time Zone Accommodations: We work with clients across North America, the UAE, India, and Europe. Our online calendar automatically displays times in your local time zone. If you ever have difficulty finding a time that fits your day or work hours, please email connect@soniajoseph.com — we are glad to coordinate directly and open up alternative slots that work for you.
• Single Sessions: Must be scheduled and completed within 30 calendar days from the date of payment.
• Multiple Sessions: If purchasing multiple sessions, sessions are intended to be used at an agreed cadence of one (1) session per calendar month. The overall validity period equals 30 calendar days multiplied by the number of sessions purchased.
• Client Rescheduling: Written notice of at least 24 hours (sent to connect@soniajoseph.com) is required to reschedule. Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments (no-shows after 15 minutes), are charged in full.
• Coach Rescheduling: If the Coach must reschedule due to emergency, severe illness, or technical disruption, as much notice as possible will be provided, and the session will be rescheduled without expiring your validity window.

5. Final Sale Policy & Statutory Rights

All coaching purchases are final and non-refundable. For EU/EEA residents, statutory withdrawal rights apply for 14 days; however, by booking and attending a session within this 14-day window, you expressly request immediate performance and waive the right of withdrawal once the session is delivered in accordance with Dutch Civil Code Art. 6:230t.

6. Confidentiality, Ethics & Privacy

Conversations remain strictly confidential under the ICF Code of Ethics, except where disclosure is required by law or to prevent imminent physical harm. Anonymized scenarios may be discussed during mentor coaching or supervision without identifying details. Coaching sessions will not be recorded unless mutually agreed upon in writing. Your personal data is handled pursuant to our Privacy Policy.
